The Challenge
To build Flaming Grill as a recognised brand on social, by defining a clear tone of voice and transforming brand personality to increase reach and engagement.
The Idea
We began by hosting a workshop to define brand personality, agreeing a clear tone of voice that we could employ across all channels.
Then we revamped Flaming Grill’s Instagram and Facebook strategy in line with our new approach, injecting humour, personality and relatability.
By putting the audience at the centre of every piece of content we created, we tapped into people’s thoughts and conversations about British pub life. Our focus was on creating affinity through relatability – talking the audience’s language, rather than talking about products.
The Results
In just three months, we saw a:
- 4.4% average engagement rate
- 158% increase in reach (quarter on quarter)
- 265% increase in engagements (quarter on quarter)
- 350.5k organic video views
- We also smashed our KPI of 40,000 engagements by 30.6%
