WPR Welcomes New Team Members
A flurry of new business wins and the growth of existing client briefs has led to further expansion at integrated agency WPR, with the arrival of four new colleagues this autumn.
Kirsten Gautrey has joined the consumer social team as senior social media manager. Kirsten brings a wealth of knowledge working with big brands to use social platforms to their advantage, creating engaged audiences ripe for retargeting. At WPR, she will focus on turning brand messaging and objectives into engaging content.
Also appointed as senior social media manager, Natalie Whitehouse joins the B2B social team. With agency and in-house experience, Natalie’s results-focused approach and passion for staying abreast of the latest social media developments will see her create purpose-driven social content powered by a clear strategy.
Ricco Leung joins the B2B PR team as senior PR manager, where he will be working across a range of technical accounts. Ricco has more than a decade’s experience delivering national and global campaigns for businesses operating in the plumbing and heating, construction, and engineering and manufacturing sectors.
Strengthening WPR’s in-house design team, Jessica Hughes has been appointed as junior designer. Named on D&AD’s ‘Ones to Watch’ list in 2020, Jessica will be adding her creative talent as a graphic designer, illustrator and digital artist to design projects across WPR’s portfolio.
WPR managing director Jane Ainsworth said: “There’s been a real buzz around the agency in recent months and I’m incredibly proud of the work our team is delivering. We’re seeing an increasing appetite – from both new and longstanding clients – for the insight-led, results-driven campaigns we specialise in at WPR. Expanding the team will allow us to do even more and I’m thrilled we’ve found such talented recruits to join us.”
Over the past six months, the Birmingham PR and social agency has secured new clients including Checkatrade, Warner Leisure Hotels, Utility Warehouse, No5 Barristers’ Chambers, AYBL and Element Materials.
