WPR Recognised As Workplace Champions

The PRCA has announced the winners for its Workplace Champions Awards 2025, highly commending Birmingham PR agency WPR in two categories.

Taking the highly commended title in the hotly-contested Large Agency category, WPR also received recognition for its training and development programme.

Rebecca Williams, director of people and planning, said: “The PRCA Workplace Champions Awards are all about identifying the agencies and in-house PR teams establishing positive and inclusive working environments; these are vital issues for our industry.

“We believe our people, purpose, planet commitments make us a better business to work with, and for. We want to inspire both our team and the next generation of industry talent – including people who might never have considered PR or social media as a career path – to seize every opportunity that this exciting industry can offer.”

In addition to comprehensive CPD for the team, WPR runs an extensive outreach programme to share practical careers advice and skills development with young people, which includes an innovative employer partnership with a local secondary school.  WPR’s Next Gen learning and development programme also provides valuable training and experience for aspiring comms professionals.

Regularly featuring on the top 25 list of best small companies to work for in the UK, WPR was previously named PRCA’s large agency Workplace Champion and was crowned Best PR Agency Outside London by PRWeek in 2024.
