WPR Takes a Walk on the Wild Side with West Midland Safari Park
West Midland Safari Park has appointed Birmingham-based PR and social media agency WPR to support its communications activity promoting the park and its newly launched safari lodges.
Owned by Looping Group, the award-winning park, which includes a 150-acre safari and is home to some of the world’s most beautiful and endangered animal species, has briefed WPR to handle influencer engagement and management.
The work will focus primarily on promoting WMSP’s safari lodges, a collection of luxury lodges and premium cottages launched in 2021 that offer guests an up-close and immersive overnight wildlife experience.
WPR managing director Jane Ainsworth said: “West Midland Safari Park is a fantastic brand, known both as a brilliant day out and for its conservation work. We’re really excited about building even more of a buzz around the incredible experience of staying at the heart of the park.
“Working with WMSP builds on our strong portfolio of leisure and travel brands, which already includes Drayton Manor, Thomas Land, Warner Leisure Hotels, the Camping and Caravanning Club and Camping in the Forest.”
Vikki Green, head of marketing at West Midland Safari Park, said: “WPR demonstrated a real understanding of the leisure industry. Their creative ideas and experience will complement our marketing strategy, and we’re really looking forward to working with the WPR team.”
