WPR Shortlisted As Workplace Champions 2025
The shortlist for the 2025 PRCA Workplace Champions awards has been revealed and Birmingham PR agency WPR has been named in four categories.
In the running for the large agency award, WPR has also made the shortlist in three specialist categories recognising employee value, training and development, and positive impact.
The PRCA Workplace Champions awards celebrate the best places to work and thrive in the UK PR industry. They highlight the agencies and in-house PR teams going the extra mile to establish positive and inclusive working environments, showcasing audiences that practice what they preach and lead the way in delivering equal opportunities.
Jane Ainsworth, managing director, said: “One of the things I love about leading an independent agency is our ability to focus on – and commit to – what matters most to our team. Creating an environment in which people can thrive professionally and personally is absolutely central to our ethos.
“That means investing in training, broadening the talent pool, being both inclusive and representative, and finding innovative ways to help people and teams flourish. The PRCA Workplace Champions awards shine a spotlight on these difference facets of what makes an exceptional workplace in 2025.”
Regularly featuring in the top 25 list of best small companies to work for in the UK, WPR has pledged to make good things happen for everyone in its world through its ESG commitments, dedicating 1% of net profit to initiatives fostering diversity and inclusion, 1% to local community and charitable causes, 1.5% to making WPR a greener place to work, and sharing 10% of profits with the team.
