WPR Wins Two Midlands Marketing Awards

WPR collected two accolades at this year’s Midlands Marketing Awards.

The team won best consumer campaign – a category seeking projects that resonated with target audiences, driving engagement and quantifiable results – for Outjoyment. This consumer PR activity for the Camping and Caravanning Club took an immersive pop-up camping experience to cities around the UK, promoting the benefits of spending time in the great outdoors.

In addition, WPR’s managing director Jane Ainsworth was named marketing leader of the year, a category in which judges were looking for a leader who has led their team to ‘triumph through innovative strategies and impactful leadership’.

Jane said: “We’ve been championing the quality of work coming out of our region for over three decades at WPR, so we’re very proud to be part of this impressive showcase of Midlands marketing.

“Our recent focus has been on making WPR the best possible agency it can be – for our clients, our team, the wider community and for the planet. We’re in an exciting place and these awards are great recognition of that.”

Birmingham-based PR agency WPR has recently become a certified B Corp™ as part of its commitment to being part of a more inclusive, equitable and regenerative economy.

The Midlands Marketing Awards celebrates the best talent in the region, recognising exceptional marketing work being carried out in-house and by agencies across the Midlands.
