WPR Named Large Agency of the Year for Third Year Running
The whole WPR team is celebrating after an incredible night that saw the agency collect six PRCA Dare Awards 2024.
The Birmingham PR and social agency took home the trophies for its B2B Future Homes Standard campaign working with REHAU, and for a creative consumer relations campaign called ‘Outjoyment’, which took a taste of the countryside into the heart of cities around the UK on behalf of the Camping and Caravanning Club. WPR’s innovative ‘Give Us a Lift’ campaign for Checkatrade also scooped both the digital and social media award and the best use of data and analytics prize.
Rounding off a successful night, WPR collected the team culture and community award and was named large agency of the year – for the third year in a row.
Jane Ainsworth, managing director, said: “We love participating in the Dare Awards because it’s a real celebration of the PR and social media talent in our region. It is always inspiring to hear about the quality of campaigns being delivered and we’re thrilled when work we’re really proud of delivering for our clients is recognised by the esteemed judges.
“It’s our team that makes WPR the success it is – the creativity, curiosity and commitment to our clients. So winning the team culture and community award as well as being named large agency of the year really is the icing on the cake.”
In total, WPR won the following awards:
- B2B Award – Future Homes Standard (REHAU)
- Consumer Relations – Outjoyment (Camping and Caravanning Club)
- Best Use of Data and Analytics – Give Us a Lift (Checkatrade)
- Digital and Social Media – Give Us a Lift (Checkatrade)
- Team Culture and Community – WPR
- Large Agency – WPR
This year’s success comes hot on the heels of the announcement that WPR has been shortlisted for three Midlands Marketing Awards in 2024.
