WPR Shortlisted as Best Agency Outside London

This year’s shortlist for the prestigious PRWeek UK Awards has been announced and Birmingham PR agency WPR is in the running to be named the best agency outside London in 2024.

The PRWeek UK Awards, which showcase the ‘game-breaking campaigns, teams and individuals in the UK PR industry’, are some of the most robust and rigorously judged awards in the industry.

Managing director, Jane Ainsworth, said: “Over the last 30+ years, WPR has always been agile and innovative to stay ahead of industry trends. We’re excited about the continually changing nature of the media and the markets we operate in – it keeps our work fresh and our ethos forward-looking.

“That’s why it’s so rewarding when we receive such respected third-party validation that what we’re doing sets us squarely among the best in the industry.”

As part of the entry process, the PRWeek judges assess an agency’s business performance, its creative success and innovation, how it cares for its team and clients, and its commitment to DEI.  Long listed agencies are then invited to attend a VIVA presentation and interview to further explore the areas being examined.

The shortlisting announcement follows a successful night at the PRCA Dare Awards 2024, where WPR picked up six awards, including being named large agency of the year for the third year in a row.  PRWeek UK award winners will be announced in October 2024.
