And The Winner Is…
Gideon Casey, senior media relations manager at WPR, has been named young marketing and media professional of the year at the Insider midlands young professional awards 2023.
Having joined WPR has a B2B PR executive in 2019, Gideon’s flair for news and passion for current affairs, led to rapid promotion and the development of his current role as a media relations specialist.
Gideon said: “I’m honoured to have received this prestigious award and have my work as a marketing and media professional recognised by the panel of judges.
“Working with such amazing clients on fascinating projects, with the support of the fantastic WPR team, has led to great results and I’m proud of what I have achieved so far. I look forward to more exciting campaigns and work in the years to come.”

This latest win rounds off an incredible year for young talent at WPR. In recent months, senior PR and content manager Nicole Daybell has also received recognition, being named both CIPR PRide outstanding young communicator and PRCA Dare rising star of 2023.
