World-Class Workplace Engagement at WPR
Best Companies, the leader in workplace engagement, has named WPR the eighth-best small company to work for nationally, the second-best media and marketing agency in the country and the 10th-best company of any size across all industries in the West Midlands.
The Q2 Best Companies league tables were announced at Best Companies Live on Friday 20 May, when WPR also received the highest accreditation rating possible – three stars – in the latest rankings.
Jane Ainsworth, WPR’s managing director, said: “We’re thrilled that Best Companies has found the work we do to be delivering such amazing results. We continually strive to make WPR a place where people thrive, and it’s wonderful to receive recognition for the time and effort we put in to provide a better workplace for our people.
“Our agency was founded with a people-first philosophy, so team engagement is fundamental to our culture. We really care about helping people to fulfil their potential in an environment where they feel happy, valued and ambitious about what they can accomplish.
“This year, our 30 Positive Impacts at 30 initiative has seen us take even more steps to support our team, attract new talent into the industry and create opportunities for people to develop their careers in PR and social media.”
Best Companies was launched in 2001 and is recognised as the leading specialist in team engagement. Today, it works with some of the world’s best-known organisations to measure, improve and celebrate great workplace engagement. The three-star rating is awarded to organisations with a BCI score of 738 or higher and reflects ‘world-class’ levels of workplace engagement.
