Employee Well-being During a Pandemic
Lloyd’s Register
THE CHALLENGE
To raise the global profile of Lloyd’s Register in the area of health and safety.
Specifically, WPR was asked to position the company as a thought leader around the issue of the work changes forced upon employees by the pandemic.
THE IDEA
We knew that research would add value, so we surveyed 5,500 people who had worked from home during the pandemic. To obtain international comparison, we sought responses from countries including Australia, UK, US, UAE, Mexico, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, France, Japan, and South Korea, and developed an idea that approached pandemic work changes from both positive and negative perspectives.
We examined how employers and employees could lock in the gains home working can deliver in terms of employee health, well-being and productivity, while also advising how to manage an emerging set of mental health risks.
The resulting report combined the survey’s findings with expert insight, and positioned Lloyd’s as an authoritative voice on this issue.
THE RESULTS
In a short time-frame, we secured significant interest:
- The report received more than 900 downloads from companies in a wide range of target sectors
- We achieved 86 pieces of coverage in national and trade media including IOSH Magazine, Personnel Today and Safety & Health Practitioner.
- A 56% backlink rate delivered SEO benefits for the client’s website
