Love Writing Co. Chooses WPR
Specialist children’s stationery manufacturer Love Writing Co. has appointed Birmingham-based agency WPR to deliver a product placement PR campaign, focusing particularly on gifting ahead of a busy Christmas season.
Award-winning providers of both specially designed writing equipment and learning resources aimed at children aged 3-9 years old, this is the company’s second foray into the PR world and seeks to strengthen its first TV and outdoor advertising campaign.
After a successful lockdown period for the Love Writing Co. with a rise in home schooling driving demand for their specialist products, the multi award-winning agency’s appointment comes at a crucial time as demand continues to grow with the new school year beginning and Christmas fast approaching.
Love Writing Co. will join a growing agency portfolio of kid and family brands, such as Busy Bees, Wacky Warehouse and Drayton Manor, in addition to a number of clients in the eCommerce space, including Beaverbrooks, Robert Welch, Oxfam, Sekonda and Advent of Change.
The agency will draw on its rich B2C PR expertise in both sectors to grow awareness of the Love Writing Co. brand and its high-quality and specialist products, encouraging the gifting of the company’s writing pencils, erasable colour pencils and range of learning resource products.
Jane Ainsworth, managing director of WPR, said: “Love Writing Co. demonstrates clear expertise and innovation in the child development and education sectors. The team’s commitment to helping children learn to write correctly, in an engaging and entertaining way, is supported with a fantastic range of innovative products, and we can wait to start the campaign with them.”
Mark Sherwood, co-founder of Love Writing Co., said: “WPR showed a wealth of knowledge in the both the child development and eCommerce sectors, and we were convinced straight away that they would be able to help us deliver great results. It is clear to us that they have the same passion and drive as us when it comes to achieving our goal of making writing fun for all children, and we are excited to start working with them.”
