Fujifilm Sets Its Sights on Success With WPR
Fujifilm, the world-renowned, innovative imaging company, has selected leading Midlands PR, social and search agency, WPR, to deliver its nationwide photo-imaging communications strategy.
Known as the world’s largest photographic and imaging company, with wide-ranging technological expertise, Fujifilm wanted a PR agency with previous achievements in delivering high-impact, national B2C and B2B PR campaigns.
WPR, a multi award-winning Birmingham PR agency, will take on the responsibility of providing a combination of business and consumer campaigns with the aim of encouraging the nation to print more of their photos. This is part of a bid to bring to life those images people keep stored away on phones and other electronic devices.
Fujifilm works to maximise the quality of photographs through its use of premium papers, inks and equipment. It will task WPR with developing inspiring campaigns that reflect the creative core of the photo-imaging part of the business.
The partnership will see WPR and Fujifilm deliver a mix of proactive media relations activity, influencer engagement and content marketing. These efforts have the ultimate aim of driving more individuals within the UK market to print photos they take on their smartphones and cameras.
Jane Ainsworth, managing director at WPR, said: “Fujifilm demonstrates an ability to create innovative, cutting-edge technology that meets the dynamic needs of the market. This understanding comes from the company’s evident commitment to the research and development stages of product production.”
Fujifilm marketing manager, Gloria McCann, said: “We chose to work with WPR due to its proven track record of delivering results and executing creative campaigns that tangibly impact on consumer behaviour. We’re excited to see where the partnership takes us.”
